How data on allcredit.cards is sourced, verified, and kept up to date — and how we handle referral links.
Every card on this site is added by hand by Eve Bakaleinikova, one institution at a time — there's no automated scraper or third-party data feed behind the numbers. Data collection and manual verification started in 2026.
For each institution, card details — annual fee, APR, intro APR offers, rewards, and key benefits — are pulled directly from the issuer's own public materials: published rate sheets, cardmember agreements, disclosure pages, and official product pages. Only FDIC-approved banks and NCUA-insured credit unions are included; the underlying institution list is drawn from public FDIC/NCUA institution data, ranked by credit card loan volume.
Some issuers only publish certain terms (like intro APR) inside JavaScript-rendered rate tables or PDF documents that can't be reliably parsed. In those cases, the field is marked so rather than guessed at or left blank without explanation — always check the issuer's own page before applying.
The full directory is reviewed and refreshed about once a year to catch rate and term changes. Credit card terms can change at any time at the issuer's discretion — always confirm current terms on the issuer's own site before applying. Spotted something outdated sooner than that? Use the feedback form and it'll get corrected.
A small number of cards (currently from Capital One, Discover, and American Express) show a "Pre-approve" button that links to that issuer's official referral program. If you apply through one of these links, allcredit.cards may receive a referral reward from the issuer. This never affects which cards are listed, how they're described, or their ranking in search results — the underlying card data is identical whether or not a referral link is present. Cards without a referral relationship are listed on exactly the same terms.
Star ratings and comments on card pages are submitted directly by site visitors and are not verified or endorsed by allcredit.cards. They reflect visitor opinion, not our own assessment of a card.
